I have been in love with nature since I was a kid.  Having lived in the PA countryside for a few years, I developed a passion for plants.  As my interest in the flora grew, I decided to put a site together that would combine aesthetic beauty of plants with botanical educational resources.  Having worked as a software engineer for most of my career, I found it natural to combine my technical skills with my appreciation of nature's beauty.  This is how this site was born and how 503(c) non-profit organization was established.
