To become a contributor, register with us and request one of the following roles:

• Media Contributor — for sharing plant photographs for Species Galleries and the Plant Sightings gallery.

• Author — for contributing botanical content such as species description or data collection.

• Reviewer — for reviewing taxon content submitted by other authors.

Contributing media

Use the Plant Share link in My Account. You may submit photos to any Species Gallery or to the Plant Sightings gallery.

• Plant Sightings submissions are posted nightly and verified by an admin.

• Species Gallery submissions enter an approval queue and are posted after review to ensure accurate plant identification. See usage instructions here.
