I'm a gardener and writer living in eastern Pennsylvania. Native flowering perennials are my primary interest when it comes to gardening, but I also love using a mix of native ferns and select ornamentals. I enjoy watching pollinators of all types visit my gardens, so I plant with an eye toward providing food sources and shelter for them. I've spent the past four years transforming the gardens in my yard and building new ones to include beneficial native plants where there were only aging non-natives before. During the growing season, I raise cut flowers from seed. I am always looking to learn more about native plants and gardening techniques.
