Currently doing research in the Alaskan Arctic tundra, but my specialty is on the Ecology of Tropical Forests with emphasis in the Amazon forest.

I got hooked up with PA flora after finding it here the same species that we work on in AK, namely the cotton tussocksedge (Eriophorum vaginatum), and all the other tundra-like species that can co-occur with it. These curious plant communities can be found in floating bogs and peatmoss wetlands in higher elevations sites across the North of the state and might be at serious risk due to climate warming.
