Galinsoga quadriradiata fringed quickweed
This plant has tiny flowers, about 1/4 in wide. Flowers have 5 white petals, each with 3 notches on outside edges. There are yellow disk flowers in the center as is common for aster family plants.
Quickweed grows up to 16 in. high and flowers from June to October. It grows in dry soils of wooded edges, waste areas, and lawns and is common throughout the state.
Habitat & Range
Grows along roadsides, in lawns, and forest edges; prefers dry sandy soil.
Present throughout the state.
