Sonchus oleraceus
Sonchus oleraceus common sowthistle

Introduced from Europe, common sowthisle is found in many man-disturbed habitats, along roadsides and fields. The leaves of this plant are edible. It can be distinguished from other sowthistles by triangular lobes on its leaves and angled lobes at the leaf base.

Grows in fields, roadsides & waste areas.
Mostly present in the south.
