Callitriche stagnalis pond water-starwort

Pond water-starwort is the only alien species of water-starworts in our state. It has become naturalized in slow-moving water of streams & rivers. The plant is hardy and stays green throughout the winter.
Habitat & Range
Grows in lakes, ponds, rivers and other streams.
Mostly found in the south-east.
