This showy lily escaped our gardens and now lines the roadsides with its bright orange blossoms.  The flowers lack the spots that are present on native lilies and bloom only one day.  The leaves are quite long and swordlike.

Common in woods borders, clearings, roadsides, and disturbed ground.

Present throughout the state.
