An import from the Old World, this unusual plant grows along roadsides and in waste grounds.  The blue flowers have red stamens and bloom one at a time on each of the short flower branchlets that grow along the upper stalk.

Frequent in dry fields, roadsides, and waste grounds.

Mostly found in the south of the state.
