Anemone americana  (Blunt-lobed hepatica)

Blunt-lobed hepatica is found more often than the sharp-lobed one. It prefers drier and more acidic locations, although occasionally these two species are found together. As the name suggests, the leaf lobes in blunt-lobed hepatica are rounded, while those in sharp-lobed hepatica are pointed. The flowers come in many shades: violet, lavender, white, or pinkish.
