The flowers of this plant have 5 white petals, each petal deeply notched, producing an appearance of 10 petals. The stem and leaves are quite hairy. It grows from 6 to 12 in. tall an blooms from end of May until September. It is common in all counties of the state and grows along roadsides, in lawns, and waste grounds.
