A native annual or biennial geranium with delicate, bright pink flowers borne on stalks above the leaves. The leaves are compound, with five delicate leaflets, each one highly dissected. This beautiful wildflower prefers to grow in the shade of the forest floor.
Habitat & Range
Grows in moist, wooded, rocky slopes and ravines.
Present in the eastern and south-western parts of the state.

Phenology
Flowers May through October.
Characteristics
Flowers pink or purple, five petals up to 13 mm long.
