Ranunculus acris tall buttercup
Like all non-native buttercups, this plant has a yellow flower with 5 shiny petals. The lower leaves are large and deeply cleft, while stem leaves are small. It is one of the tallest buttercups, growing from 12 to 18 in. high. This buttercup prefers meadows, fields, and other open places or man-disturbed habitats. It blooms all summer and is present throughout the state.

Present in all counties of the state.
