Characteristics
Flowers up to 1/2 in across, 5 narrow triangular yellow petals; 20 yellow-tipped stamens surrounding the bright green center; 5 greenish sepals are about the same length as petals and bend back away from the flower.
Basal leaves simple, lobed, or deeply divided into 3 to 5 parts; long petioles
Cauline leaves similar to basal leaves, alternate.
Stems and petioles pubescent; stems erect and branched.
Fruit round seed head, smooth seeds with a hook at the tip.
